WHITE LINE FOLLOWER

Image
This circuit will be used for a toy automotive to follow a white line. The motor is either a 3v sort with gearing to steer the automotive or a rotary actuator or a servo motor. When equal lightweight is detected by the photo  resistors the voltage on the base of the primary transistor are mid rail and the circuit is adjusted via the 2k2 pot that the motor doesn't receive any voltage. When one in all the LDR's receives a lot of (or less) lightweight, the motor is activated. and also the same thing happens when the other LDR receives less or more light. Regulated Dual 3 Watt White LED Lamp

Image
This project involves constructing an energy efficient dual 3 Watt white LED array that runs on 12VDC at 700mA. The lamp is useful for indoor indirect room lighting. The light that is produced does not flicker and has a regulated brightness from 11V to the maximum operating voltage. The Avago 3W white LEDs are rated at 3 watts (nominal). Never stare directly at this lamp when it is running at full operating power, it is dangerously bright. Specifications: Nominal operating voltage: 12V DC Nominal operating current: 700 mA Maximum operating voltage: 16V DC Power consumption at 12.0V: 8.4W Minimum voltage for regulated light: 11V DC Leds produce light down to: 6V DC White LED voltage: 3.7V DC each White LED input power: 2.59 W each Voltage across regulator when current becomes regulated: 3.3V DC Theory: The lamp is wired as a current loop which includes the power supply, the LED series string and the 700 mA current regulator circuit. The LM317 and 1.8 ohm 5 Watt resistor act as a current...

Simple White Noise Generator Circuit

Image
Description  This two-transistor white noise generator has a surprising feature – about 30dB more noise than the more traditional designs. Q1 and Q2 can be any small-signal transistors with a beta of up to 400. The reverse-biased emitter-base junction of Q1 provides the noise source, which is fed into the base of Q2. Q2 forms a simple amplifier with a gain of 45dB. The improved output level is due mainly to the inclusion of C1, which provides a low-impedance AC source to the noise source while not disturbing the DC bias of Q1.  Circuit Diagram:   The low amount of feedback also makes this circuit very resistant to oscillations and tolerant to circuit layout. Unfortunately, the truism of "no such thing as free lunch" also applies; C1 makes the circuit very sensitive to power supply ripple. DUAL 3v WHITE LED FLASHER DUAL 1v5 WHITE LED FLASHER

Image
This circuit alternately flashes 2 white LEDs, on a 3v supply and produces a really bright flash. The circuit produces a voltage above 5v if the LED isn't in circuit however the LED limits the voltage to its characteristic voltage of three.2v to 3.6v.   The circuit takes concerning 2mA and is actually a voltage-doubler (voltage incrementer) arrangement. The 1k charges the 100u and therefore the diode drops zero.6v to prevent the LED from setting out to illuminate on 3v. When a transistor conducts, the collector pulls the 100u down towards the 0v rail and therefore the negative of the electro is actually concerning 2v below the 0v rail. The LED sees 3v + 2v and illuminates terribly brightly when the voltage reaches about 3.4v.  All the energy within the electro is pumped into the LED to supply a really bright flash. DUAL 1v5 WHITE LED FLASHER This circuit alternately flashes 2 white LEDs, on a 1.5v supply and produces a really bright flash. The circuit produces a voltage o...

Dimmable White LED Lamp Circuit Diagram

Image
They are so bright that you shouldn’t look directly at them. They are still expensive, but that is bound to change. You can make a very good solid-state pocket torch using a few of these white LEDs. Dimmable White LED Lamp Circuit Diagram The 12V DC input voltage is routed through the 1A fuse and the on/off switch. The 1N4001 diode acts as a crowbar device. If reverse polarity is applied, the fuse will blow and the rest of the circuitry will be protected. Power is sent to the LM2941CT voltage regulator IC. The regulator is wired to produce a voltage range from 5.5V (dim) to 8.3V (bright).  The 4.7K resistor across the 1K brightness adjustment potentiometer produces a non-linear brightness adjustment to compensate for the eye's logarithmic brightness perception response. The LEDs are organized in six series groups of three with a 24 ohm current limiting resistor on each group. This arrangement limits the maximum current through each LED group to around 20mA. Connect the DC input ter...
