A 6 watt audio amplifier circuit using TDA2613 is shown here. TDA2613 is an integrated Hi-Fi  audio amplifier IC from Philips Semiconductors. The IC is switch ON / switch OFF click proof, short circuit proof, thermally protected and is available in 9 pin single in line plastic package. In the given circuit, TDA2613 is wired to operate from a single supply. Capacitor C4 is the input DC decoupler while capacitors C5, C6 are power supply filters. Input audio is fed to the non inverting input through capacitor C4. Inverting input and Vp/2 pins of the IC are tied together and connected to ground through capacitor C3. Capacitor C2 couples the speaker to the ICs output and the network comprising of capacitor C1 and resistor R1 improves the high frequency stability. . Taiwan Semi (TSM) May be Sole Manufacturer of Apple's (AAPL) A8 Chips for iPhone 6. Taiwan Semi (NYSE: TSM) is up in early trading Wednesday following reports that the company might have scored a big chip deal. Taiwam's Commercial Times reported that Taiwan Semi was tapped to supply the A8 chip in Apple's upcoming iPhone 6. The news is positive for Taiwan Semi and also hints that Apple is further distancing itself from rival Samsung. Production on the chips, which use a 20-nanometer process and have a 64-bit processor core, was said to begin in February. Taiwan Semi was also said to get most of the manufacturing orders for logic and power management integrated chips (ICs). In this 2-7V power supply circuit, for our purpose, we chose IC 723 instead of a three pin voltage regulator for-why we find it protean and more advantageous in technical details. Notes:  Heatsinks of Tr2 and Tr3 transistors must be sufficiently large. To archive R4,R5 and R6 values, we used some suitable resistors in parallel. For R4 and R5 two parallel connected 0.3ohm/5W resistors for each are used. To take 6A output, we connected two 0.22ohm/5W resistors in parallel, and to take 8A output we connected three 0.33ohm/5W resistors in parallel instead of R6 resistor. If you change the marked component values properly you can get up to 14V output. For this situation you must disconnect R1,R2,C5,C6,C1,C2,D1,D2  components and connect the positive terminal of D3 directly to the rectified and stabilized supply.
