2 Transistor FM Voice Transmitter

Image
Warning: Take care with transmitter circuits. It is illegal in most countries to operate radio transmitters without a license. Although only low power this circuit may be tuned to operate over the range 87-108MHz with a range of 20 or 30 metres. Circuit diagram Notes : I have used a pair of BC548 transistors in this circuit. Although not strictly RF transistors, they still give good results. I have used an ECM Mic insert from Maplin Electronics, order code FS43W. It is a two terminal ECM, but ordinary dynamic mic inserts can also be used, simply omit the front 10k resistor. The coil L1 was again from Maplin, part no. UF68Y and consists of 7 turns on a quarter inch plastic former with a tuning slug. The tuning slug is adjusted to tune the transmitter. Actual range on my prototype tuned from 70MHz to around 120MHz. The aerial is a few inches of wire. Lengths of wire greater than 2 feet may damp oscillations and not allow the circuit to work. Although RF circuits are best constructed on...

Audio signal processing 1 W × 2 channel

Image
Overview: AN12942B is an one-chip IC for the stereo speakers which can output 1 W by 8 Ω, headphone amplifiers, line amplifiers, and electronic volumes. The AGC circuit is built-in to prevent the resonance or the vibration by the speaker’s energy and the clipping distortion what is  called "broken up sound".  Also the AN12942B is built-in power saving on/off function automatically detecting input signal to save the power of speaker  amplifier. TDA2005 2 X 20 Watt Power Amplifier

Image
This time, there is a series of audio amplifer 20W as well, but using IC TDA 2005 as a series of his base amplifier. The series of 2x20 Watt Audio Power Amplifier using TDA2005 can you see in the picture below. Technical Data: Performance of TDA2005M: (for this circuit); At 4.14 V supply voltage: 2 x 20 watts (stereo) into 4 Ohms. Distortion: Approx. 0.2% at 4 Watts into 4 ohm load. Frequency Range: Approx. 20 Hz to 22 KHz. Input Sensitivity: Approx. maximum 150 mV rms. . Power supply: + 8 to 18 volts, approx. 3.5 Amps maximum per channel.

Final Nikon Coolpix S800c Runs on Android 2 3 Gingerbread

Image
Normally, when we talk about an Android-powered system, we would venture into the realm of smartphones and tablets, and very rarely (if ever) into the world of digital cameras. The line is about to be blurred this day, as the Nikon Coolpix S800c was just announced to come with a copy of the Android operating system – Android 2.3 Gingerbread, to be exact. Yes sir, how does this digital camera shape up in the face of a mobile operating system running in the background? Well, we shall have to take a closer look at its machinations and inner workings right after the jump, shall we not ? For starters, with Android running on the Nikon Coolpix S800c, you might actually feel that you are using a smartphone at times – until you realize that you are unable to make any phone calls or receive text messages. Good thing it has Wi-Fi connectivity built in though, as it would not be much of an Android device if there were not Internet connectivity to make it interactive. Setting up the camera for Int...
