Simple 30 Watt VHF Amplifier by using 2SC1946A

Image
The 30 watt amplifier schematic shown below provides an appropriate power boost with an input of 4 watt up to 6 watts. The circuit is designed to cover 88-108MHz FM Broadcast Band. However, the circuit is very stable at my place and provides a clean-output through seven (7) element Butter-worth low-pass filter. Circuit Diagram: Notes: The heart of the circuit is 2SC1946A VHF RF power transistor. The transistor is specifically designed for operation in frequencies up to 175 MHz, with very good results. As you can see, the power line is well decoupled. The amplifier current can be over 5 amps. All the coils are made from 16gauge laminated wire (or Silver copper wire can do best) and the RFC can be of HF toroid core (as shown in the picture) or 6 holes ferrite bead.C3 and R1 forms snubber circuit while R2 and C6 prevent the amplifier from self-oscillation at VHF, sometimes you need to add 180 ohms in parallel with L7.That will cause the amplifier to dissipate UNDESIRABLE VHF thereby r...

Build a Relay Switch Activated by Tone and Signal

Image
The essence of the circuit is for the input of tone and signal to provide an activation for the relay switch. Relay – an electrically operated switch where the current flowing through the coil of the relay is creating a magnetic field which attracts a lever and changes the switch contacts, thereby making its state open or close BC214 – a complementary silicon planar epitaxial transistor used in AF small signal drivers and am1 as well as for low noise preamplifier applications due to its feature of good linearity of DC current gain LM741 – a general purpose single operational amplifier with features such as offset null, compensated internal freq uency, voltage range with high input, good stability of temperature, and protected from short circuit The use of relay will allow the circuit to switch from one condition to another. It can also be referred to as a form of an electrical amplifier since it is able to control an output circuit of higher power than the input circuit. There are man...

SmartBird A Flying Electronic Bird by Festo

Image
A bionic bird known as SmartBird has been developed by German company that can takes off, fly and land without human interference and with minimal consumption of energy. The size of the SmartBird is about 150 cm wingspan, the wings feet long, and a torso of more than one meter. Despite the dimensions, the SmartBird is very lightweight. It is powered by two small lithium batteries with half amp charge. Despite the high technology used in its mechanical structure, the key to the secret of seagull flying mechanic is within your torso. While motion sensors indicate the exact position of the wings and an accelerometer provides information about the displacement and tilt the bird, a small microprocessor system calculates the exact angle of twist of each wing and tail of the bird, which allows him to fly in different directions, take off and land without human interference. However, you can also control it via a microwave radio system known as ‘ZigBee’, which combines rapid response and low p...

SPI CASE STUDY AND IMPLEMENTATON by Rishyab

Image
SPI Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) is an interface bus commonly used to send data between microcontrollers and small peripherals such as shift registers, sensors, and SD cards. It uses separate clock and data lines, along with a select line to choose the device you wish to talk to. Some sensors implement SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) protocol for data transfer. The SPI protocol basically defines a bus with four wires (four signals) and a common ground. There is one master device controlling the activity on the bus, and one slave device. The slave is active only when one of the signals, Slave Select (SS) enables it. This signal is always provided by the master. There can be more than one slave connected to the SPI bus, but each slave requires its own Slave Select signal, see Fig. 1. The data gets transferred serially bit ‐ by ‐ bit. There are basically two signals to carry information, one from master to slave (MOSI, Master Output Slave Input, driven by master), and one for the o...

Build a 1 3 32 V 5A Power Supply w Short Circuit Protection by LM338

Image
Project Description This is a very easy to build power supply that is based on LM338 5A adjustable voltage regulator. I am using the supply for a long time, have no problem yet. Only current adjust is missing but I overcome this situation by using an LCD panel ampermeter.  There is no PCB for the circuit. I took a 3x16 copper plate and strip the unused areas by a knife. If you want you can use analog meters instead of LCD panels.    Notes Use thick wires for connections. When connecting the LM338 to the heatsink use thermal paste. Use external supplies for LCD panels. They can be 9V batteries. The panels I use draws 1mA current and the batteries last sufficiently long time. If you have small transformers which can supply regulated 9V, you can use them. You need separate transformers for each panel! The transformer should be 100 Watt but if you don't need high current you can try transformers that you already have. (I can draw 6A from 100Watt transformer.)If you have ...

5V 10A Switching Regulator by L4970A Circuit Diagram

Image
Circuit Diagram Description Friends that seek 5V 10A power supply circuit small-sized and build easy. I begs for to advise this circuit. It is 10A switching regulator by use IC L4970A. Then build easy as an example integrated readymade circuit. Important point be power supply input must have 10A current sizes then can give power get enough. The detail is other of the circuit almost must not fine to decorate anything. If friends take an interest try seek buy the integrated circuit and other equipment. come to try build immediately yes. How Amazon to ship Android based gaming console by years end

Image
Online mega-retailer Amazon may be planning to release an Android -based gaming console by the end of the year, if rumors prove correct. Citing "those ... who have knowledge of the in-development hardware," Game Informer claims Bezos & Co. may be readying the device to ship by "Black Friday" – the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday, traditionally the start of the holiday shopping season, which this year falls on November 29. Details of the plan are virtually nonexistent, but this isn't the first time El Reg has heard murmurs that Amazon may be planning to broaden its hardware line beyond its Kindle e-readers and tablets. In May, The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon was operating a secretive facility in Apple's hometown of Cupertino, California, known only as "Lab 126," where it was working on at least four hush-hush hardware projects. Two of those were said to be Amazon -branded smartphones, a perennial topic of discussion among r...

2 7V 6 8A Power Supply by 723 and 7812

Image
In this 2-7V power supply circuit, for our purpose, we chose IC 723 instead of a three pin voltage regulator for-why we find it protean and more advantageous in technical details. Notes:  Heatsinks of Tr2 and Tr3 transistors must be sufficiently large. To archive R4,R5 and R6 values, we used some suitable resistors in parallel. For R4 and R5 two parallel connected 0.3ohm/5W resistors for each are used. To take 6A output, we connected two 0.22ohm/5W resistors in parallel, and to take 8A output we connected three 0.33ohm/5W resistors in parallel instead of R6 resistor. If you change the marked component values properly you can get up to 14V output. For this situation you must disconnect R1,R2,C5,C6,C1,C2,D1,D2  components and connect the positive terminal of D3 directly to the rectified and stabilized supply. TIP142 is a darlington transistor so you can not change it with other normal transistors. For an example of the circuit operation; When a 0.68 ohm load was connected, ...

Relay activated by Sound Circuit Diagram

Image
This is a Relay activated by Sound Circuit Diagram . Generally a circuit has a basic function, but according to our needs can modify or add to a circuit making it more complex. This circuit is a relay activated by sound, which can be used in an alarm system, home automation, robot and even in an Arduino. Undoubtedly this control by sound can be very useful, an example is a light activated by the sound of a knock on the door or a round of applause. The light turns off automatically after a few seconds. An alternative is to use protection against theft - if someone wants to open the door or break something light illuminates, indicating that someone is home. The circuit can work with any voltage 5-12 Vdc, it depends on the voltage of the relay coil. Relay activated by Sound Circuit Diagram
